VA series and V7AM series all are applicable to heating pad/ pet heat pad.

The biggest difference between V7AM series and VA series is the bimetal, V7AM is snap action, 

VA is creep action. For example, their off temperature all are 55+/-5C, one V7AMM, will trip at 56C, 

and reset 40C, but the other VA, will trip at 56C, and reset 54C. Means VA keep temperature in a 

narrow range, constant temperature.
